Here are two reasons why you should not wear Che Guevara on your shirt:

Revolutionaries – Even if you spend your whole life combatiting the forces of capitalism, you still might wind up on a t-shirt sold in a store owned by Gap.

I tortuted and executed
people who disagreed with me…
Wanna put me on your t-shirt?

I have a Che Guevara wallet!
Guess that means your ignorant.
Well… Yeah I’ll still wear him on my shirt. Why not?
He’s killed people for disagreeing with him, he’s a communist, he’s the face of dumbed down people. Guess that means you too.
Sounds like two reasons to wear him on your shirt.
the second part is the reason I wear him on my shirt. it is also my policy.
Well, when you put the face of someone like that on a t-shirt it doesn’t seem as bad. It’s a good way to ease the pain. He he.
give more money to the greedy folks for anti capitalist “idealist” on your shirt defeats the purpose. In Cuba you can’t have the board game monopoly because they are commies. You will pay some money to pretend you are communist?
why dont you look at the real reasons people are scared of che shirts? they are wealthy they ahve it all, the throawat nation, to them we are living in a perfectly balanced society- wel here’s some news we’re not! this police state is going to cruble and things will need to be shared.. so before you critisise a little t shirt think about hwy your doing it?
damn eve, is that english? are you dyslexic or just stupid? btw, if it weren’t for those you describe as “wealthy” and claim that they “ahve(have?)it all” are the ones that make it possible for the lazy to sit back and do nothing, except maybe collect their welfare checks. open your eyes darlin’.
People do not like Che because he was an insane fanatic. It is like wearing Hitler or Saddam on your shirt you idiots. No, he wasn’t a dictator like they were, but he did many of the same inhumane things to the people of his country.
Guevara traveled throughout Latin America and was transformed by the endemic poverty he witnessed. His experiences and observations during these trips led him to conclude that the region’s ingrained economic inequalities were an intrinsic result of monopoly capitalism, neocolonialism, and imperialism, with the only remedy being world revolution. That is what he set out to change. He didn’t just go around killing/torturing everybody that disagreed with him. He set out with a goal of bettering the world for himself and those around him. That is why he is on a t-shirt.
Although I will say that the fact that his face is plastered all over merch is hilariously ironic, giving the fact that he pretty much spend his life fighting against capitalisim.
Finally! Someone who knows what they are talking about!! He didn’t go killing people just because! He was a really concerned person who just wanted equality for EVERYONE. And he wasn’t from Cuba, you ignorant-north americans!!! He was from MY country. Argentina. And you don’t deserve to be called Americans. I’m American too and I don’t want to be confused with people from a country that invades another country for their natural resources!!! FUCK USA!!!!!!! Ha!
Guevara and his fellow revolutionaries killed — by the *highest* estimates — about 0.2% of Cuba’s population. The US-led regime change in Iraq has killed — by the *lowest* estimates — 0.4% of Iraq’s population. I think I prefer Guevara’s methods!
psst… che guevara was irish too.
